Rejected application on a Credit file..

Just out of interest how does a failed credit application appear on a credit file to potential creditors..?

Also do they appear on a file immediately?

    It doesnt show up.

    It will only show as a credit search, just like any other application.

    Ah right so theres no indication to the creditor of whether it was a successful application or not?

    No no one would know whether it was a successful application or not. It could just as easily be that you decided not to take up the offer.
