There is a time limit in which you can exchange chilled goods , I think it is 1 hour but maybe 2 .

Don't think you can exchange chilled goods, I tried when I bought the wrong butter for my mum. They said they were not allowed as they could not be sure where it had been stored, after leaving the shop. That was only 45 mins later.
