We had one earlier in the week and it was good. We've another one for tomorrow and the packaging says: 'our hens enjoy large, naturally lit barns, well balanced diet and perches and bales to perch on.' So not free range but looked after in a good way.;)

Free-range doesn't have to be much different from that, as long as they are within a prescribed density of birds and have access to an outside run as well then that's free-range.
