Dormant Barclays account, before applying for mortgage

Hi guys,

I'm about to apply for a mortgage through Woolwich (Barclays). I've been looking at my credit report etc which seems to be fine, except I noticed I have a dormant Barclays account from my student days (10 years ago) £190 overdrawn in it's interest free OD. I'm a little worried it might have an adverse effect on my application.

Just wondering what the best way to deal with the account is? I've transferred money to bring it in to credit, would it be best to shut it down, wait a few months, etc... before applying for the mortgage?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Francis
