Help?

Well im 16, i have my national insurance number ect but im still at school, stayed on for 5th year.
Just wondering if anyone has any ways for me to make money, Id rather not do surveys, tried them before and they didn't earn much for the time put in.

I can do pretty decent graphics if that helps at all?

Similar to the advice in the 3d thread below. If you are good at graphics go and look around some of the indie game making forums they always look for reliable sources of assets.

Keep an eye out for part time jobs that will give you experience as well as money. Ask your friends or even ask a guidance teacher to see what they are doing or would suggest. It's quite hard to make money online or I should say its hard to make more than a couple of pound at a time (or at least that's what I've found!). I'm not sure where you could look for graphics work but maybe set up a digital portfolio and if anyone else can offer up a name send it to them? Or friends and family?

Most of my friends have paper rounds and they barely make anything from it, there's just generally a lot of people around here doing a round so each person only has a few people to deliver to.

I have a portfolio for my work at the moment, it only gets around 3/4 visitors a day and I doubt that's from anyone looking to hire me for work.

A lot of indie games are 2D or "2.5" and if you can do 2d art it shouldn't be difficult to switch to 3D? can use Blender as a free software package.

Or visit the manager of each major retailer in town armed with your CV and see if you can beg a few hours work over the course of the week.
