They are selling the store back to Debenhams allegedly, meanwhile they have been closed since last Friday marking everything down for a huge clearance on everything - household, electrical, clothing, cosmetics, luggage etc etc etc. Nearest tube Wood Green on Piccadilly Line.
They do bargains on good quality stuff all year round, so this should be a good one.

Sorry but just to clarify is this the same Pearsons as the one in Enfield Town? My Mum will be really upset if it is , she loves that shop .
  • Yes it is. They're closing the Wood Green one but keeping the Enfield store as they've only just done it up.

I understand Wood Green traffic was in total gridlock today because of the Pearson's sale. I can't get there till Friday but I hope some MSEers benefited.:)

Went to Pearsons in Wood Green myself this afternoon. Just browsed around but there seemed to be some interesting reductions on womens clothes and luggage/bags.
I was really unimpressed by the kitchenware sale - many of the smaller items just had 20 pence reductions. Last but not least, I glanced at the cafetieres. They were selling one that I had purchased before Xmas and returned because of a design fault. It had been reduced by £5 before Xmas and I bought it at that price. Today it was priced at £2.50 more than I originally paid for it.
This has really put me off the new-style Pearsons.
