Credit rating and mortgage repayments

I cohabit and our mortgage repayments come out of my partners' account - I pay half into his account each month. Does anyone know if it's wiser to pay half each direct from our accounts, as there is no official record of my repayments, although the mortgage is in joint name...
My credit rating is good anyway, but would it be advantageous to me if my repayments were more visible, ie, came direct from my account? For example, if I want to borrow a large amount in the future, it would show I was a good customer. Any advice on this would be much appreciated!

as the mortgage is in joint names there is no need to pay half each by DD. as the mortgage is in joint names this will already be logged under your credit file. also if another company want proof of your payment a mortgage statement will be fine to use or a reference from the lender0
