edited 1 October 2011 at 10:43AM in It's gone, but was it any good?
I missed out on the tesco storio deal as I was silly and didn't take the risk when it was available but I managed to bag a good deal on one with the rucksack carry case that goes with it. It does mean opening an account at isme, I'm going to pay it off straight away but it was a good deal so worth doing!

Storio with game reduced to £41.25 from £55

Carry case £9.75 from £13

Total £51.00...Then using first order discount code £20 of £40 spend for new customers code on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/47341023#Comment_47341023 you can also get free delivery using collect+ which sent mine to my local newsagent. Bringing Storio & case down to £31.00 :j

You can of course buy without the carry case as the storio is over the code threshold which would make storio £21.25 but I got it as its a good price anyway and will come in useful!

Oh, and I had to call as free delivery didn't kick in they refunded it, there was no problem with the £20 code whatsoever lady confirmed it was all ok for first order :) I also have an account with very, she said this was fine also.

The write up for the product states that it comes with a Dora cartridge.

Tesco's had one advertised a short while ago at a low price. Lots of people reported that they were bought these and were sent a cartridge instead of a Storio. There is another thread on here about it.

The pink storio comes with Dora the Explorer, the blue comes with Toy Story. It comes included in the pack.

The tesco deal was an error, the Storio system pack description listed as the price of the Dora game £16.97, people bought hoping they would get Storio with game but the were sent just the game, some did complain for the hassle they had having to return etc and got the Storio eventually at reduced price/or gift cards with the value to buy it at full price. Its been corrected now though. HTH
  • Thanks OP just ordered one for a Christmas present :)

There is also another link on here as Argos currently have a couple of storio cartragies at half price! hth
