I agree with Cleaver. The EA industry is ripe for consolidation in my book.
It's happened in other areas of retail.

I've known many direct propositions but so far none have prospered as expected and I think the reason is buyers and sellers like a middle Man to have thier arguments through. Human Beings can be incredibly petty and stubborn and like hiding behind the agent to do thier dirty washing. I've known people with a mind set such that will lead them pulling out of a £300k deal over a few hundred quid for white goods.0 -

I'm not sure that this has anything to do with house prices.
With sales volumes down wouldn't any business re-evaluate the resources allocated per sale? If BMW decided to reduce the size of their dealer network no-one would think that there was going to be a BMW price crash in the future.0
