Hi there, we are off to buy a new wireless printer this weekend, wanted to know, which current printer has the cheapest ink? Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

perhaps a small clue like a price, model etc would help?
do you expect people to check every printer available?0 -
Avoid the Epson SX425W and SX525W as their compatible inks are expensive at the moment0

A recent TV advert suggests the Kodak are selling their printers on the strength of the lower costs of inks for their machines.0 -
You're better off asking this on the techie board. You'll get great advice there.
I recently bought a printer based on recommendations from them, i bought a Canon.
Stay away from Lexmark, had one, was so thirsty and expensive for ink.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Ive had Lexmark and Epson Printers in the past - neither of them have come close to the savings on ink with a Kodak Printer. I get both black and colour cartridges for under £20! and they DO last just as long if not longer than the others.
I think the print quality is better on my Kodak printer too - with the Lexmark I kept getting streaks (the reason I got rid of it) and the Epson was OK but I find the prints 'sharper' with the Kodak.0 -
I just bought one of the wireless kodak printers. Prints very quickly & very well. I think their USP is the price of the ink. Maybe £6 ish? Printer was £70 is Currys & its the same price in tescos too.0

I bought this one yesterday - http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002901&langId=-1&searchTerms=CANON+MP495
Didn't seem too bad for ink for this one either.0 -
Jessops has the same deal if your local Argos does not have it in stock
