morning all - just popped in to tell you that the 1000 spud shillings I won on Sun has been added to my account. Still no sign of vouchers I ordered on Sept 6th though!

Well, well , well...insurance companies never cease to amaze me.....got an email from Hastings Direct yesterday and it proved to be best money saving email I've ever had.....am with Saga for Home/Car insurance and they called me today with renewal figure...it had gone up by £40, then said I needed breakdown cover, she offered me AA Breakdown and Relay for £37....asked me did I want to go ahead...I paused and said ....well, I've had an email from Hasting Driect and it's cheaper...really, she said....wait a minute , let me offer you a better quote....I waited and she came back with quote that is only £14 more than last year but has recovery and breakdown included and as it is the same credit card as last year money will not be taken until next month , so won't have the bill to pay now until December( allowing for months credit on my card)...even better...job done...I'm my very own 'moneysavingexpert'....:):):):):):):)

Saga are now doing interest free payments. You can pay in 4 installments, well my OH could;) Even if you have the dosh, better in your pocket to spend on your hols than theirs.
