i was sitting here reading all the posts earlier when i heard a loud bang, the cats fur stood on end and the dog did a runner i had no idea where it came from then thought i will have a look in my bag not happy a bottle of This Water had burst and covered everything, my first thoughts were i hope i don't have any vouchers in there, it was ok i had used the ones earlier in tesco i am so glad it did not burst in tesco cause it was really loud so now my bag is sitting in the sun drying out.
Scary stuff, it must have been a heat build up.
Something similar happened to us in Sharm Airport earlier this year, we had just arrived for our return flight, checked in our bags and were walking towards security - my wife had a bottle of coke and I a bottle of water which we were holding in anticipation of having to bin them at the checkpoint, when bang!!! my little bottle of water blew its lid.
Guns were aimed, travellers hit the ground and my wife nearly fainted  it seems funny now and I can have a smile at the thought but at the time it was a tad tense in Egypt and could easily have been a problem.
Think the moral of this tale is Drink Coke Cola (its safer) :rotfl:I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

ok, quick lesson.
go to google images, type in the word of an image you want. When you find something you like, right click on it, click on copy image url.
click on this icon and paste in the url you have just copied, then click ok.
hey presto, one pic0 -
That sounds like a great idea.
these are big holes. I can actually lift up the carpet and place a box down there. The problem we had last year with the pipes, I have already put steel wool around.
going to buy poison and traps on wednesday. getting sick of trying to find the holes they come through. reckon they are coming from next door.
last year, Landlord had to pay council for pest control, not free around here CW, they charged LL more than they charge householder. And he told me to look around house for broken things where they could be coming in, holes, etc. We plugged all we could find. Then this year, new hole appeared
but we got rid of them thanks to poison. Was walking down the road and neighbour was telling me had found some in his kitchen, and had to get his LL to get them sorted through council. Reckon they are coming in through his house again.0 -
It is a tricky situation made harder when you have youngsters in the house, keeping them away from traps is even more tiring
I know its not very helpful but you will need to find their access points or no matter how many you catch they will keep on coming
On the up side if you use the humane traps and keep them alive then you could sell them as pets at your local car boot saleI'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j
