Oh you've had a though patch there glad to see you back and hope things settle.

    Raven

Thanks Raven just have to imagine myself sitting on a lovely beach for now:D:D:D atleast the hot sunshine helping esp as don't want bra or clothes on at minute:eek:so very grateful for the warmer weather borrowed a backless summer dress from DSIL for today.

With everything just seems like going through a lot of bad luck at moment but take each day at a time and sure better luck will just be around that corner. There are others have had far worse to face ie Wendy and all she has had to cope with and she stays so amazingly upbeat and positive a true star and hope so much everything goes well with the adoption as she will make a truly brilliant parent:A

Caught up with all the thanks :j

tried the spud shillings game twice but not won anything yet:( so will try to remembeer to keep trying each day
  • Good morning all:D

Hope you feel better soon adoreholidays.

Managed to find some of the price drop leaflets
in Mr T this morning so picked up a couple of tins of Quality street, These work out at better value than a selection box so might pick up a few more before the promotion ends.

Had a few bits of good news this morning, through dialing the wrong number i have managed to pick up an extra 3 hours a week of work so thats really good.Letter came about ppi claim being upheld in our favour so should get payment for that in about 6 weeks, this will be going towards dh tax bill as they are chasing him for that.Dh wants a holiday as he said he is feeling exhausted(which i know he is) but we cant waste the money when he has debts to pay:(
we have a couple of 1 night hotel stays coming up which dd and ds got us for our silver so have said as soon as an arrangement has been made with hmrc we can do one of those.

  • morning all and (((((hugs))))) to adoreholidays, sounds like you need it hon. Sebacous cysts are nasty - OH had a wee one on his face which was removed but has left a little scar. It's on his cheekbone and as he's a bloke it's not too bad but if you were a girl or more concernced about your looks you would be sooo cross.

So glad not had one on my face:eek: luckily both on head were under my hair although had bald patches for a few months hair grew abit weird afterwards but all fine now as long as I don't go bold now:D:D:D. Yet to see the damage this time might be brave enough to ask the nurse if she has a mirror when doing the dressings today part of me wants to see the damage but then another the squemish side doesn't. Not too fussed abt scar where it is as don't tend to wear alot of backlass clothes so prob only if swimming etc people may see it. Seem to be building a collection now shoulder op last year, 2 carpanel tunnel ops, my appendix scar then the cysts DH says you so unlucky as he's never had an op before.

Thanks for your specail hug jeferey so gratefully received you lot are the best:A
  • IMH hope you get your little break soon sounds like you both need it badly:) so fingers crossed for you both
  • Was hoping to have got a few of them flyers when was at t's sat but couldn't see any thought maybe they had all gone as wasn't a small store still would have only stuffed my face with the sweets then regretted eating them:rotfl:at the back of my mind saying must loose weight at the very back of my mind:D
