Anyway, I nicked this from coupon thread :-
BTW, I'm sure the Carte Noir 150g refill packs are on offer at £2 in ASDA - need to confirm, but well worth £1.25 with coupon (thanks for coupon). Wish I had printed a few off.
I have 4-5 emails from them with 75p off I have not printed out yet - its in my bin folder. So hint hint:D:D
it's amazing how many stamps can be recycledI donate all others to my local hospice charity.
I printed 2 carte noir, I love the stuff. and now, every blooming penny counts :mad:0 -

I wasn't comping last year but this year I have seen lots of tickets for the GFS as prizes, is this normal or do we think that they've not been selling this year? Lordy I wish I could go!
But I do have a ticket for the subscribers lounge from the Good Food magazine - if anyone wants it I will dig it out. PM me!0 -

Any coupons I get you will have first dibs Doc of course then blue. Now you all need to give me tips as never been, heard you all mention abt getting loads of the coupons HOW you don't seem to get that many at IHS.
AH, (and anyone else going to the GFS!) if you are going to hit the wine section later on then here are my tried and tested tips:
If you are going to drink red wine then wear black or a dark colour as the wine glasses in holders around your neck can dribble!
Find a stall with a lot of wines. Get to the front and engage the sample person in a bit of small talk, then whatever they look interested in continue on that line. They will generally be so bored and want to talk about themselves they will keep you there and give you more samples & you can work your way along the range of wines.
A good opening line is "Do you work for this wine company?" If yes then find out what they do ie marketing or tasting & take it from there. If they are temps working for NEC talk about different shows & ask them their experiences. Basically they will be thinking "Us and Them" and you want them to include you in the "Us" part iykwim. Keep them talking about what they find interesting.
Another good line if you drink white wine is to say "oh but I don't like Chardonnay" and then they bend over backwards to prove that their charodnnay breaks the oak-y rules.
:rotfl: Oh happy days, I was so sure I was going to make it this year but sadly not!0
