    Hi All,

Have been lurking here for sometime but not got around to posting until now. Thought I would just mention a possible problem with Tesco clubcard points. The last time they were doing "double up" (back in August/Sept) I used quite a few vouchers which were about to run out, eg. using a £30 voucher to only double up £5, thus having the "change" put back on my card to use at a later date. I did this several times and was due to get back £67.50. When I got my latest statement this week there are no reward points on there!

So I telephoned them today and after being cut off several times was eventually told they had made an error and that the points would go on the next statement in February. Normally, I don't check to see if these points have been added but because I had such a lot I kept the receipts just to make sure - good job I did!

So it might be worth checking your points total if any of you should have been credited in the same way. By the way, I also asked if it would show on my next statement and they said no it would just be included in the total - not a very satisfactory situation as you cannot check!

Great post Genmod55, very helpful to make people aware a lot of people wouldn't think to check and as you point out tesco very good at getting it wrong:mad: & don't make it easy to check as they just group all points together and you never actually know what they are for. I try to keep a note of internet offers where you get bonus points as quite often these are not added until next statement alot of people forget they ordered completly forget abt points & T's know this. Have people noticed how they make the vouchers up in strange odd amounts I think this is deliberate by T's this month had a £25 they made it up as £24.50 & 50p:eek: I think this is to make it more difficult with their rules for doubling up and you have to get remainder credited & as you just proved doesn't always happen wonder how many don't check:mad:.

So thankyou for reminding people and pointing it out
  • i also had problem ,had old clubcard points reissued from aug 11 100 went on 500 missing, they told me not on system now so lost, both done 100 and 500 together, not happy spoke to team manager who reluctantly agreed to reissue the 500 on feb statement, so will have to remember then to check.very annoyed on phone just under the hour.
I like doing it daily :A

just looked at the free clinique gift most of which I will use:j
    50ml liquid soap (I use)
30ml dramatically different moisturising lotion (I use & purchased today)
    15ml youth surge spf15 (I use & purchased today)
colour surge eye shadow quad will probs use okay colours
    High impact mascara (will use)
Superbalm moisturizing Gloss (will try won't like if sticky)
    a little brush set

So 2 sets well pleased whats great they are in small sizes brilliant for hols. Although the products not in my skin type have been able to change them to correct type in store in the past

Just worked out what equivelant products wld have cost the 3 Skincare ones would have been £27.65
the 3 make up products would be £33.00 per set

sounds like some sets from Bonus Time they had left over - I don't think I've bought mascara for over a year thanks to their bonus time freebies :D
