Yes and Waterstones is all part of the same group too.
HMV bought Fopp a few years ago, think it was about the time that Woolies went under, but only kept a small percentage of the shops open. Some changed name and continued to trade but six or seven continued under the HMV umberella.
Quite miffed about these as had earmarked specific items online before realising that the vouchers wouldnt work. Just know that they would be more expensive in store, so had to hand over cash.0 -

Just popping in to say hello, got the bad news at Mr T yesterday too...nearly chucked my 8p casserole dish at the store mgr in a rage :rotfl:
Bought beer (3 for £20) and Baileys for OH, plus a few other bits. Spent about £80, got about £15 off and cheeky trout had the audacity to say 'you virtaully got that for free' hardly! (though i will when I take the £40 game back which meant I could use and extra £5 off £40)

You should have said to the trout - I see you haven't met Dr.WW yet:D:D:D:D:D if she said yours are virtually free - I wonder what she is going to say about mine - most probably fainted:rotfl:.
As she is so rude & bl**dy cheek to say that to you, I would defi'ly returned the game back just to spite Tesco staff. And yes, go get it again with your £5RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

hello Doc, I will be there by 6am - that too late? Put the kettle on.
Never mind moc trouts, I had this today from Asda young lady, looking at DS in trolley
"aw, how old is he, you got any more, you having anymore?"
me: "10m, 4 1/2 yrs and no, not having any more"
"ooo why not?"
me: "er, cos I'm knackered & 40"
her: "oh really, why did you wait so long, were you trying for ages?"
erm, did not know what to say, she was so young but she needs to be told it's not the right thing to ask surely?!!0
