Afternoon all, not been on much last couple days been busy sorting thru all the clothes little one already grown out of so all ready for next free listing day on eBay. Hope it gets a bit wArmer as our boiler stopped T the weekend so we have no heating in the house and can't keep kids warm, already all under blankies trying to keep warm. Maybe I should be looking for a moc for a plumber lol

Our combi boiler went too, no hot water in bathroom taps, or kitchen taps, but shower still works, as it heats itself and doesnt need the combi boiler, gas fire still worked too. :)

A way i heard of getting warm is a trip to the local library/ supermarket etc, as they have heating on :P

it was recommended last year when it was freezing :D

:(:( got another migraine put it that way :(:(

agree DW certainly not the wording of a newbie

Just had a quick read before I run out to Mr A, great sympathy for you MT - you just dont deserve the hassle.

Think everyone should just turn a blind eye to the sort of comments that are trying to cause problems, ignore them and let them get bored.

Failing that can BT start deleting posts that are just trying to create arguments?

Stay in here and let them burn themselves out.

  • I agree that BT should just delete those posts as its pretty obvious that it is someone trying to get the thread closed. And I note another "newbie" agreeing. Or is it just the same person?

when I had DS, we lived in the coldest granny flat you have ever lived in. And as I could not afford to put heating on during day, we always went out. We would go to library, supermarket, our local shopping centre, and window shop, maybe costa coffee or starbucks for one drink and the warmth.... but yep, we were always somewhere where I wasn't paying the heating bill and hopefully free.

but last year! that is a bit of a micky take!

hope you can get it fixed soon.

a few times we have had boilers break in winter.... not funny. Worst was when we moved into above stupid place and heating broke 2nd night we were there, LL on holiday for 2 weeks, and his stupid son would not contact him or authorise any kind of repair until he was back!

needless to say I demanded recompense for eating out every night!

you should really only delete posts for a good reason, ie breaking forum rules, contentious, etc.

best is to ignore and let them go play in traffic. or in arms. Arms loves newbies trolls.
