Hello Everyone, I'm hoping someone would be able to help me out as i'm in little bit of a pickle.
I ordered my wedding dress on ebay a couple month ago, paid through paypal. however i had to put it on hold as i was busy with work and didn't have time to get proffessional measured. The time came when i could finally be measured up and i could send my measurement to the ebayer. When i tried to e-mail the ebayer i keep getting 'The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes.' I been getting that for the past 2-3 week now and It making me really nervous. When i look on the buyer profile he last feedback was 4th September 2011 and he (or she) has no more dress or nothing more to sell. It look like the profile gone completely blank. I hasn't e-mail ebay just yet, i'm just hoping this will come through andi finally get communication, i will do after the weekend as time is ticking.
However everyone is nagging at me to ordered a second dress a 'just in case' as my wedding is in December 2011 and i be a bride without a dress!
Are there any really good online wedding bridal dress in the uk? Everywhere i look has the pound currency but when you look closely it made all in china (which was the same as my ebay designer) and all i want to do is find a dress, pay for it and recieved it to my measurement. I would go the tradional route of going to a brial shop and yadada and i done that and the prices there was asking was way to high (my dress budget is only £100-£200) and i had a nasty experience with a dressmaker a few years ago that has put me off.
I want it to be made in the uk instead of somewhere like china, does anyone know of a place or an online site? I'm at my wits end and it very last minute!!

Firstly, I would raise a complaint with ebay and paypal to see if you can get your money back.
Secondly, on a budget of £200 max you will not be able to get a custom made wedding dress made in the UK,. Have a look at preloved etc for possible bargains. If you want new try Monsoon, or look at evening dresses/bridesmaids' dresses etc.
There may be other avenues as well, but I can't think of them at the mo! Hopefully others will be able to help.

I second Monsoon, they have some beautiful dresses in atm, also Debenhams i think had a dress in sale recently for about £90 so they might be worth checking out. BHS also sell wedding dresses. HTH!0

Meant to say as well, obviously these are off the peg not custom made but worth checking out IMO as some are stunning!0
