Thought of an idea to attract people to your stall.
It would take at least 2-3 people being on your stall. Hire table next door and set up make your own canvas stall. Buy loads of small Canvas from The Works and washable paint. Invite kids to pay £3.50 to paint the canvas or even put their handprints on. Parents keep their kids amused for 5 minutes or so and a great cheap present to give the grandparents whilst you get parents hanging around your stall hopefully making a few purchases.
Depending on the size of the Canvas I think you would make about £1.50 on each canvas.
Just need .......
Brushes, paints, canvas, bowls and plates for paint, old aprons (could even borrow from school on agreement you would wash them) and some baby wipes to clean hands................ thoughts please!!!

Nice idea, but...you need a place for the to dry because people won't want to carry something covered in wet paint. If they left it to dry, its a nightmare remembering who's is whos.July Win: Nokia 58000

You could always write the name of the child on the back before they start painting. I think its a good idea if you have room behind for them to dry and then be picked up later.0

We are doing a Christmas fair and our craft stall is for the children to make christmas cards. (using a5 card and cheap envelopes from Wilkos not the proper card crafting stuff)
We have someone with a press who is going to cut lots of christmassy bits and bobs, and will have felt tips and a couple of prit sticks on the stall. Probably sell them for 10p or 20p each. Not a massive markup but its affordable to all, not as messy as paint, and the kids can make nice homemede cards for relatives.0
