Cheap/Fake Malibu

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a fake (or real) version of malibu that i can get in a smallish size just as a little extra for my sister for christmas. I've looked on the internet but the delivery costs make it ridiculously expensive. She's not a big drinker so I only want a half size or minature version and I wondered if anyone had any ideas where I can get one cheap?
Thanks

A half size bottle of Malibu is on offer at the moment at Sainsbugs for £6.41, but have you thought of the cans of malibu and mixers at £1.75 each in Asda at the moment. They might be handier for sis if she doesn't want to open a bottle and not have any more for a while.
I think the cheap/fake types will probably only be available in full bottle sizes - places like lidl and aldi willl have them.0 -
I thought of Aldi and lidls but she'll probably open it and then waste the rest like you say.
I hadn't heard of the cans of mixers they sound perfect and a good price too. Thanks alot!0 -
The aldi/lidl version is fine, ive tried it and i cant say i notice any difference. Sainsburys/asda/morrisons/tesco might do a cheaper version themselves. Have a ook on mysupermarket. The cans of mixers have been available for a while now.0

Tesco do one called Copacobana (or something like that) for around £4.99 and its not bad at all - considering the price.

I sub it for malibu when making cocktails and no one has ever noticed the difference.:D

1 litre bottles of Malibu are £15.97 (£1.60/100ml) in ASDA, cheaper even then most other stores. Tesco and Sainsbury's sell this size for £19.29 (£1.93/100ml).
The 350ml bottles in Sainsbury's are £6.41 (£1.83/100ml).
Do the small cans work out cheaper?
The one mentioned by Raven is called Cococabana Coconut Liqueur (700ml) £4.99 (71.3p/100ml), it says it's a tropical alcoholic drink with Caribbean Rum & coconut flavour, so appears to be an alternative to Malibu.0 -

Somewhere(or used to) does 1 called cocoabay(might be morrisons but i know its made by IC brands) so it might be morrisons. Sainsburys do 1 called sunset reef for just under £6 wich ive tried and its an equivalent.
Actually just checking IC brands website it looks like they have replaced cocoabay with the Copacobana mentioned by Raven.0 -
i saw the price and thought WOAH £99 for malibu then saw the Qty was for 6 bottles but expensive per bottle when you can get this for less or even less frm the supermarkets for £13.970 -
700ml bottles are £13.97 (£2/100ml) in most supermarkets, cheapest is the 1L bottles in ASDA at £15.97 (£1.60/100ml).0

i am sure i saw a cheaper brand of this drink in iceland and it was just £5.49. yes it was a full sized bottle but for that price it wouldnt matter, but i am sure it would last months once opened.0
