NIE off peak times

Hi All

Anyone know at what time is off peak rates for the leccy? The NIE website tariffs is very confusing. I am on the standard rate and pay by DD.

Also can anyone tell me how much of a discount is offpeak rate?

Thanks

  • If you are the standard rate and are not on Economy 7 or Keypad Powershift then there is only one rate - which looks to be 15.03p at the minute

If you are on powershift I think it is 8pm to 8am in summer and when the clock goes back, 7pm and 7am.

  • There are different rates at different times of the day on the Powershift. You can actually download a copy of the leaflet on the NIE website.

many thanks for the info. I seen the tariffs on the website but it is not clear. I am on the standard tariff. does that mean there is only one tariff and no off peak?
