I have an A6 week-to-view moleskine diary, its got an elastic clip to make sure the pages and anything I chose to trap between the pages, stays trapped inside when it is in my bag. They never seem to be reduced so I don't tend to feel irritated by spending more then I could have gotten away with! The space may seem small but generally I tend to be able to put a good few things in per day before the space gets filled- its also amazing how many weeks are just blank save for the odd reminder/note taken!

Citygirl - yes I find as its a page a day its a good size - I have something in it for everyday which will include name, address, contact number and maybe a bit of description for what I'm doing for each client and I find it's fine for this

I love Paperchase diaries, been using them for the past 4 years or so. I use the mini ones, but they do bigger ones A4 and A5 sized ones too. I saw them using them at work.

I started this year using a home/work diary from Ktwo - http://www.ktwoproducts.com/products/80_2012_diary. When opened, it has the same week twice, one side for home, one side for work (though they're not labelled Home/Work so you can call each page whatever is appropriate for you). I lapsed a bit and have been using Outlook at work, Outlook at home, my iphone and my memory (useless!) but it's been getting increasingly difficult so I've dug out the Ktwo diary again and have vowed to use it for this month and see if I can get back into it. Fingers crossed for no more missed or clashing appointments! (missed a medical appointment for my son on Friday, hence the guilt-fuelled action!) :)

ETA: I also have one of these - http://www.ktwoproducts.com/products/92_to_do_notes_with_pen_holder. Last yea's said "To Do" on one side and "To Buy" on the other (no titles on the latest version), very handy!
  • I was always a Filofax girl (pocket sized one) but I have found that this year I have barely used it as it does take up too much space in my bag, so I'm looking for a new smaller one for next year.

I'm a youth worker/teacher so can be either classroom based or up a mountain! I have an A5 work diary which comes out with me when not office based, which is a day a page. Invaluable for work. I also use my Outlook calender for work appointments.

I've just got a HTC Desire S phone which seems to have a good calender so may well start using that too.

I have a memory problem so need to have stuff written down. Think this year I'll go for a small mini diary for my personal stuff so it won't take up too much space in my handbag.

I just Google calendar, I can access it from anywhere using my phone, it synchronises automatically with my phone calendar, one entry and it appears everywhere. I use Evernote to make notes for the same reason.

I use google calendar for things that'll affect me and my boyfriend-we both have each other's synced with our phones so know when events are coming up or birthdays etc. However, I also have a Moleskine 18 mth calendar-A6-which I love. It has a week to two pages, but only one side is the diary, with the other page being for notes. I don't have many appts so the space is enough for me, but I love the notebook side for lists/budgets/scribbles etc. Its expensive but its the only diary I've ever managed to keep for more than 2 months so I think its worth it!

I love my Filofax, can see a week on two pages. I won it in a competition, it is an orginal, there is no other the same and it is pink and sparklie....can put all sorts of cr4p in it, holds all sorts of reciepts and rubbish. Can out clients addresses, phone numbers and info in the daily boxes....just need a big handbag for it.

Don't get on with electronic ones, even though I do use a Blackberry. I can't see the whole weeks appointments with them.

    Paper anyday.

I have two. A Moleskine a page a day one which I will use as a diary/journal. I like them because they are solid enough if I want to stick in tickets/flyers/photos etc.

I also have a basic week to view diary from WHSmith to write my appointments/work schedule in.
