Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find a site for cheap invites (day and evening) and vista print are doing packs of 10 for £3.99 and cheaper for the more you order. I van get 90 invites (day and evening) for £25 and they come with envelopes. This seems really good doesn't it?:)
I wondered if anyone knew what the quality and colour was like and if you would recommend them? If not then any other websites?
I've looked into making my own but I'm not very neat and I'm worried they will look rubbish and I'll make a right hash of it lol:rotfl:
Thanks
Nicole

We got ours from Vistaprint and were very pleased with them. Our daytime invites were the flat ones, about A5 size. We had them in the linen finish which is really nice. The evening ones are the smaller flat cards which were in matt finish. White envelopes are free or you can pay extra for mathcing ones0

How do you find the difference between day and evening? I liked these ones but it's for day. Is there an option for evening that I'm missing? Thanks!

Our evening ones are actually save the date cards but we just completely changed the wording on them as we couldnt find smaler invites for the evning! We also got place cards from there, and we made some drinks vouchers by using business cards.0 -
That's a brilliant idea I didnt even think of making ones smaller for the evening lol that would be really good if I can change the words enough for an evening invite.
Thanks I'll have a play around and see what I can do!!
Just clicked on your link and that's one of the invites I wanted lol my first choice is the purple heart or your one lolSaving my pennies for my wedding on 10th August 2013!:j

You can get rid of all the text that comes on the save the date cards and put invitation wording in. You can either use the text boxes and change the words, or insert ne text boxes, make the text bigger/smaller so dont be put off by what's written on there already. As long as you can fit your wording on, you can have whatever you want0

We used Vistaprint - extremely pleased. We received a wedding invitation before we ordered ours that was also by Vistaprint and I thought it felt a little thin, but they did go for the "linen" optional extra. We decided to pay more and get the thicker card (it was only a little more).
Can't recommend them enough.0 -
We have done invites, return cards, evening invites, thank you cards and even used them for the mass booklet!
Very good value, cards feel really good quality and have had lots of positive comments. Can highly recommend. Note that the glossy are hard to write on, so we used glossy for invites (and got an appropriate pen) but used the matt ones for the reply cards which people needed to fill out.
We decided we could take the time to find a pen that easily writes on the glossy, but wouldn't expect our guests to track down the ones that works!0 -
We used Vistaprint. Just had a go at getting the proof from the website and uploading to photobucket (first time I've used so hope it works!)...

I've blanked out some details and the real thing was gloss and looked really classy. We got some blue gems and glued them onto the swirls to make them look fancier.
A tip is to design and put in your basket and then wait for an email with special offers. Then it's free - just pay postage (which can be quite a lot due to weight!). We got 100, then used the same design for evening invites (100), just changed the wording. We also got a banner which went across the cake table, business cards which we folded and used as place names, and sticky address labels (with new name to stick on envelopes for thank you cards). Think it was about £25 total.
PS - didn't have that many guests - packs of 100 postcards were free!!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

I forgot, we also bought a return address large stamp for about £7 including delivery which was really lovely to stamp the back of the thank you cards with as it was in our married name!0

I used vista print and im very happy, ive used small flat cards for evening invites folded for daytime also return address lables for rsvp envelopes and business cards for rsvps. I also used folded cards for my favour cards (donation in guests honour rather then a bag of almonds)0
