Is there some embargo regarding naming companies?. I have asked a couple of times if certain users would share the name of the company they have been quoted from and so far no one has replied, I have stated the company names of quotes i have received so either it isn;t allowed or maybe theirs were not genuine quotes.Well i only had this quote on thursday from spirit solar, will you share the name of the company you have gone with?0 -

I agree. I have also asked same question. My quote was from Solar Style if that helps anyone. Not sure why other posters make claims but then won't supply names of companies.....0 -
Does anyone have any actual experience of business with Solar style ltd, Gamston, cannot find any info on the company which is only few months old.0

That was why I posted the original question. They seem genuine enough, but I would like to have confirmation from someone who has dealt with them.0

I have actually cancelled my contract with them as they could not answer my questions to my satisfaction, so will anyone recommend a verifiable company for a 4kw ish system?wobblegobble wrote: »That was why I posted the original question. If it helps I have Eco-Kinetics coming out for a quote next week. Not sure if you are still interested in them, but they are very cheap.
I have also had quotes from the Mark Group and Evo Energy. Very professional but more expensive.0 -
I got quotes from Evo Energy (too expensive), TECG (way too expensive), Finesse-Energy (good professional quote, not too pricey), Allen Electrical (literally half a mile from me and the quote I went with in the end), GM-Renewables (again, very good professional quote), Karlton Energy (very new company) and Tescos (cheapest quote).
The 3 best quotes in terms of listening to my requirements and designing a system accordingly were from Allen Electrical, Finesse-Energy and GM-Renewables. The others were very inflexible in that "this is our offering, take it or leave it" - hence i left them!0
