I recently won an oral B Vitality rechargable toothbrush. On the face of it, a good prize, but...

It has a 2 pin plug, and we have no shaver point in the bathroom. Our bathroom is downstairs at the end of the kitchen (Victorian terrace), so I can't keep it in my bedroom (which is upstairs). I would have to keep it on the kitchen worktop all the time to recharge - not very practical. Why don't these companies think about these things beforehand?

    buy a 2 pin adapter from Boots-about£2.50

  • I'm a 22 year old Spurs fan - and last year i won a maths book aimed at kids doing their SATS (year 6), using arsen*l throughout to make it more interesting for them. Couldn't for the life of me work out what competition i had entered to win that prize!

Oh Sage! You just made me remember (I had thought all mine were ok) I won a dvd ages ago - it was a Star trek one, but it was made by a fansite and was just people not even dressed up 'acting' out scenes!! It was dire!
This made me laugh.. who on earth would expect someone to enjoy something like that. Their lack of acting lessons dragged out for a few hrs. Competition should of mention the prize more on the lines of a home dvd torture kit.
Most of the stuff I've won has been pretty ordinary although the Lois and Clark dvd I won defintely wasn't for keeping.
