    holy cow!

if you buy one, make sure you fit the gas bottle really carefully. I am reminded of one scary afternoon using my camping cooker (same type) at hoem before we boht a prope one and flames licking around the flap which holds the gas in!!!

the gas bottles have a little notch on the neck for the springly clip thing (take a look, it'll make sense), or they should. I got some generic bottles for mine. no notch ;)

I never routinely carry spare fuel in my car because if you are involved in a smash severe enough to pierce the container, then it is also likely you will be unable to escape without assistance. The last thing you want in such a scenario is fuel vapour inside the cabin.

We have one just like this, never had a problem - £1.50 for it is definitely a grabbit.

Tins of gas can be bought from Amazon for about £8 for four tins, each tin will make quite a few bacon rolls ;) We keep ours in the car during the summer - nice to stop for a cuppa and a bacon roll if we're out and about on a family daytrip.

My local Asda was, (might still be), selling 4 bottles of gas for £6 or 8 bottles for £10. Might be a nationwide offer, worth checking your local store.
