    WOw well done have a lovely time.... glad ur son can go... i have been to many many prems and have gone smart casual to full on dress and heels.. depending on how i feel... the dinner date dresswear sounds good... i seem to remember at the Twilight Eclipse prem the couple next to me looked like chavs!!

    have an amazing time I won to a prem experience last year to Knight & Day. just wear something smart and enjoy the red carpet walk its a bit bizaare with so much press and cameras around.

    I went to the road trip premiere earlier in the year and it was fab - took my brother and he was mortified that he had to walk along the road that was in place of red carpet with all those camera's. I went for glam look, lots did, lots didnt and others somewhere inbetween so go with how you feel comfortable dressing for a night out.

    thanks for all your advice, in the end we dressed smart but comfortable as we had 3 hours each way to travel, it was a fantastic experience and the film was great, Rowan Atkinson was as funny as usual, it was a long day but one we will always remember xxx
