Quick Pie Idea.

I got some chicken stew leftovers out of the freezer earlier & couldn't think what to make.
Looking for inspiration in what I had to accompany the stew,I saw I had a pack of 8 Paratha breads.
So while the spuds were cooking,I fried off a Paratha until golden & after plating up the stew & mash,I added the Paratha lid & viola,Chicken pie!
A pack of these breads are just over a quid in a Asian Supermarket,so one of these quarterd would make 4 servings of pie..I know it's not the same as fresh pastry, but it's quick, easy & tasty!

sort of, but sort of not lol. a paratha is normally layered with ghee between the layers so it's like a puff-naan.
this sounds great!0 -

It puffs up like the crust on a Fray Bentos pie P.C,It's raw doagh that you pop into a dry frying pan & cook for a few minutes.I'm wondering if you could fold the doagh in half & make a sort of pasty with it....Might give that a try tommorow...;)0
