has anyone managed to use the £1 off quality street in a Tesco METRO store

..our Metro store has the display with leaflets going in the door but also got one in the sun and sunday mail newspapers

not wanting to buy them then not get the money off at till

The vouchers say 'offer not valid in Tesco Express or Tesco Metro'. However, they also say 'valid until Sunday 7 October'! Somebody didn't bother to look at the calendar before sending them to print!

I have the voucher - came in our Times yesterday - but sold out of all stock when I went to T's today. A SA seemed very surprised that they had sold out and said "they have gone really quickly"!! I did explain about the moc which surprised her even more.

I purchased 3 tins in one go at a metro store. Young lad on checkout asked his manager if it was ok and she read the coupon and said sure x

Almost as cheap as the celebrations last week....

I took back 4 boxes of Celebrations (2 for £6) that I'd bought last week and got 4 tins of QS (£4.50 - £1) :rotfl:

    My head hurts.

    You took back 2 x 2 for £6 = £12

    In exchange for 4 x £3.50 = £14

    Am I missing something here?

    Cheers

I think its because the tins are much bigger.

4 large tins for £14 is a better deal than 4 boxes for £12

    Exactly!

    Celebrations (£3) = 270g
    QS (£3.50) = 969g

50p extra but a much better looking gift (all mine are being stashed away for Crimbo gifts).

Did anyone get a voucher in a Northern Ireland store, if so which one?

Lots of leaflets in Tesco's Knocknagoney, Connswater and got some also in Belfast City Centre store. Lots of tins still in store so people may not be aware of offer! HTH:j
