SP Collect - Advice?

I have recently been ignoring my debts which I have now realised is very stupid!

I received a call at work from SP Collect and they stated that a payday loan company was looking to set up a decree for myself but that they could give me an offer on the full amount if I was willing to pay it within the next few days.

I was just looking for some advice. I could afford to pay the amount but not in the time alloted and also it would leave me without money for essentials etc. Plus I have other debts that I want to start paying off so thinking it would go against me if I favoured one over the other.

Really not sure what to do as they are saying they will take me to court if I dont pay but not sure if this is a scare tactic as not had any paperwork regarding this.

Any advice appreciated.
