Hi do the seefilmfirst text tickets work like orange wednesdays? Do you just show your text in your phone rather than hand over a sheet of paper?
Thanks :)

Just back from Transformers (robots in disguise!) in Liverpool. DH loved it :j but I thought it was a tad too long - probably due to my back aching after over 2 hours ;)

I think you've missed the plot. You're a bit late

These tickets are for PREVIEWS ...... before a movie is released.

HAIRSPRAY is on general release from July 20th ! TOMORROW !

Tried to go and see Hairspray last night at Vue O2, Greenwich.
Quite a number of people were turned away from the screening because the screen was full. Granted they kindly let us see any other movie we wanted whichw as appreciated.

But it was noted the screening was placed in the smallest screen they have seating only 140 people. Whereas Evan Almighty was seated in their largest at 700+. Somewhere in the middle for Hairspray would have been nice. The cinema was hardly full nor were their 11 screens all in use.

Is it just me or has anyone noted how long it takes to get a drink or popcorn there?? And at £4+ for a popcorn its something I will be avoiding in future. Cheap night out wasnt so cheap in the end after £5 parking, £4 popcorn and £3 drink....

Yeah, I did find stuff there very pricey when I went to the Evan Almighty screening the week before. Go there on a full stomach =)

I was curious what people thought about this version of the film? I found the first one to be quite fun, so was surprised when I heard that they were going to remake it. I have only seen the trailer, and it looked like a carbon copy .Did it manage to pull it off, and be entertaining in its own right? Or is it another Gus Van Sant Psycho (shudder)...

Cheers,

Ray.
• Does anyone have 2 tickets for Transformers in Edinburgh that they can't use? If so, I would really appreciate them.

Went to Hairspray preview last night. FANTASTIC!!

Annoying tho as cinema only 80/90% full. Why do people who can't go not email to icantgo@seefilmfirst.com to give others a chance.
