Just finished my 4 shops at Mr M's, got 4 copies of the sun this morning ;-)

No problem with the vouchers, all scanned at £10 as they should (unlike the one from the mirror last week). I also used 10 SALCA SAUCE vouchers per shop so walked away with 40 jars of the sauce for FREE too!

Thanks OP and thanks Mr M :-)

Presumably you spent £60 INCLUDING the £9.90 for the 10 jars of sauce, then took the £10 Sun voucher off first, and then the 10 x £1 sauce vouchers making about £40 to pay?

I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A
  • HTH :-)

I may go back tomorrow and do the same again with another 20 Jars ontop of the Sun voucher?
  • You've got 40 jars already, what do you need another 20 for?

Just 'coz it's on offer, doesn't mean you have to take it to the limit.
It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?

What's the deal with this sauce? Had a quick scan of the forums, but can't find reference to it.

    For the following reasons:

    1) It is an Excellent (and fully legitimate) offer with the coupon

    2) I have loads of dry storage space for 100's of jars

    3) The use by date is 31/01/2014 and we will use them all by then without a problem.

In this day and age, being Savvy is the way to go, look after the pennies and all that. We have our first baby due in 8 weeks and where we can save on our food bill we can spend extra on the little one :)

Also reported on another thread a £1 off quality street being handed out in store today
Already 4.50 so making them a tasty £3.50 for Christmas choccies
And please remember your pilgrims cheese offer (with coupon) making them 91p a block
And if you are really going for it there's the 25% off on the wine (works best on the finest meal deal) but you have to buy 6
My savings yesterday were £150 shop reduced to £49 after coupons vouchers and multiple saves £!!!!!
