hi all we have booked our venue
getting married in july 2014, no idea if this is cheap or not, as far as i am concerned where it is going to be is perfect for us as it is anyway.
wedding breakfast for 40
reception and buffet for 80
room hire (we are only wedding)
drinks package (a total of a bottle of wine each per day guest if they choose the wine option each time)
cake stand
dj
master of ceremonies
napkins
balloons
number stands
table numbers
canapes
room decoration
price works out for 2014 at approx £3500, all we have to sort out now is our church, hotel room, my suits, my wife to be's dress, rings and cars (oh and a honeymoon lol)
is this cheap? i have no idea :rotfl:

well its not a hotel, its a venue owned by our local council, they have some that offer the same for £300 less, we picked the biggest one with a hotel next door

we have up until 2 weeks before to pay and give guest quantities
tigs- might be room for you, marley and the lad to come to the reception

That's really flexible isn't it, so next on the list is a wedding isa, check out martins best rated ones but don't forget to ditch and switch to a better rate if one comes alongI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0

Congratulations!
Saturdays tend to be the most expensive, especially in Summer, but that's a great deal you've got.0 -

don't forget photographer, cake, flowers, favours, gifts, hair, makeup, etc
Venue's a good start, but still a lot of work to do
