Winter on it's way: Screenwash

With winter on it's way I been thinking I need to stock up on screenwash. I've been using cheapo Wilkinsons make all summer which I don't think has any antifreeze in.

Anyone know if Lidl/Aldi have any of their good stuff due in yet? The stuff that goes right down to minus 50 or something!

Could you please just let us enjoy the current warm weather without raising the spectre of another terrible winter?! ;)

I bought enough last winter to last through this year. Its not difficult to think winters coming it might get cold
and we may have another winter next year.

But then again i dont work for the council.

It was in the local paper the council were suprised at the amount of green waste they were collecting at the start
of the growing season??? How can that be a surprise? Winters over greenery grows and people want to tidy it up.

No article when the waste suddenly stopped though, But i bet the sudden shock surpised them.

Lidl 5l screenwash available 17th Oct, £5.99 this year. Looks like they have put it into a new cheaper bottle and not the super German pouring bottle.
  • Three pallets of it on the floor at our local Lidl's on Sunday.

The 5lt stuff was ready to use but it could be watered down, I used a 50:50 mix with it and had no problems over last winter.
  • i bought a 5ltr container of holts undiluted screenwash last year and still got plenty left. i put a 500ml squirty bottle of diluted mix in the car ready for when the washers freeze and you get all crud on the windscreen.
