The new Kindle has arrived and can be found here for £89 pre-order.

    I think I'll hang on for the refurbed current Kindle price to drop like a stone.

    $109 to £89 isn't as bad as it could be, unless you're talking about the ad sponsored one for $79 which Amazon UK don't actually sell?

    The new one doesn't have a keyboard, so it might be a bit difficult to use on 3G!

    They are doing a colour Kindle. It hasn't been released yet so whether it's really a rival for the iPad is speculation and/or hype.

    The Kindle Fire is the colour one due for release in the US in November. It is able to play movies, music, etc and has a fast web browser.

    Edit : Tried to post a link but not working. However if you visit Amazon.com and type Kindle Fire in the search box, you can have a look at it!
