Sainsburys self service tills - any problems

just wondering if anyone has had any problem today using their vouchers/coupons in Sainsburys on the self service tills?

Yeah, £3 voucher for Dettol No-touch hand wash. Screen said something like the fact that the coupon exceeded the maximum allowed costs, or there was no related purchased item.

I think that's because the self service till takes a maximum of £2.50 discount with vouchers.

I was wondering if anyone had used any vouchers and been prevented from continuing until an assistant arrives (that's what Morrisons' and Tesco's do) - but usually sainsburys just ask you to put the voucher in the bin provided. I wondered if the policy had been changed since the kerfuffle yesterday regarding the lady from Wrexham

I've got loads of small value vouchers and would feel embarrassed if I had to call someone over for such a trivial amount (although the vouchers do mount up!)
