Getting a Mortgage with no job???

Ok. My DH and I are finally planning to live together - could be the end of a happy marriage?
My house is under offer and I want to buy a house for us, the house is £135000 and I could put down up to a £60,000 deposit but .... I am currently a student so have no steady income.
Is there anyone out there who would let me self cert / buy to let mortgage ??? Can anyone think of options? I have a Natwest Mortage for £40,000 at the moment but I am sure they will not let me borrow extra without proof of income?
Thanks for any advice

Do you no want your DH on the mortgage?

DH has an income (and would be paying the mortgage) but he also has a house, so his borrowing capacity is tied up in this. We can't sell his house without first buying this one as this one needs some renovation before we could move in. DH works about 80 hours a week so I couldn't ask him to live in a building site

you could look at doing this as a "self-build" whereby they will just deduct his existing mortgage as a commitmentI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser code of conduct.
