I wondered if it was a sweetener for those of us in Wales who can no longer get green points for re-using carrier bags.

The rest of the UK can still get green points but the Welsh "5p bag tax" means that Tesco has decided they won't reward re-use any more in Wales.

I got the voucher but my mum didn't who was looking forward to a points boost for the Big Exchange happening soon.

She called up tesco and their reasoning was that it's randomly generated. Both myself and my husband got one but i know other couples who have just received one so perhaps tesco was actually honest for once.

My mum went a continued with saying it's unfair as with todays internet culture, a lot of people will become aware of it and perhaps feel dissapointed which wouldn't look good on tesco. The woman said "Thank you, can i help you with anything else?"

My card is registered at my folks house (in case the ex kicked me out of our house and I forgot to change the address) but not linked to their cc account. Both of us got the 250 point thing yet dad got around £30 in coupons last quarter and I had over £100. I haven't had a money off till spit in ages so the extra points will help out a bit.

So far I received letter with 250 points coupon few days ago, my mum received letter today but no coupon, DH has not got either (though he got conditional spend coupons through post about 2 weeks ago). Also my mums friend got the coupon too, so we both wrongly thought it was more or less guaranteed.
