Photowalk - Saturday 1st October - Peace bridge, Derry

Hi,

taking part in the Scott Kelby organised World Wide Photowalk on Saturday 1st October. Walk starts at 10am, Browning drive entrance to the Peace Bridge, in Derry.

The photowalk is a free event for all levels of photographers, so if you've a point & shoot, mobile photo or digital SLR, you're more than welcome to come along and enjoy a couple of hours craic.

That organiser mug shot would put anyone off John:eek:

But I have signed up;) could we arrange the Post Mortum in a Sky Sports friendly venue for 12:45 and take the footy match in at the same time:)

This was a great event last year folks and I would encourage anyone with even the slightest interest in photography (no matter what camera or phone you have) to come along and enjoy a morning stroll and a bit of banter.

A good mornings craic, with a lovely bunch of Ladies and Gentlemen:T Unfortunately we had a grey and bland sky all morning as a backdrop we should be used to that thou by now;)

I took plenty of picture, none of which I'm happy with:o but this one sums up my city well

about it being a comment on our city.

I would assume that you deliberately picked out the steps in black and white and the bottle in colour to make a statement, but I guess thats was just the greyness of the stone and the light.

Ahhh I love to mess about with Photoshop (even thou not very good at it) photo tweaked slightly and I have been a bit sceptical about our lovely city;) we really don't appreciate what we have sometimes:)

WOW, love the pic of the peace bridge. My friend was on one of the canoe's so I'm keeping an eye for her, lol. Enjoyed looking at your pictures, perhaps I'll pencil myself in for next year:)
