Mortgage issues

Hi,

After almost 1 year of unemployment my mortgage payment insurance is going to run out now. I am receiving mortgage interest from the DWP however I am still almost £900 short each month on a 95% mortgage. My wife is is due to give birth to our 3rd child in 6 weeks time. Its been difficult to find employment after 6 interviews over 1 year. I have been offered a part time degree university place starting next week to top up my HND to enhance my job prospects whilst still on JSA. I cannot sell as my house is is almost in negative equity. My concern is how long will my mortgage lender wait before taking action
