Has anyone actually read the Terms and Conditions?

    DEMAND
Starting a Demand: Starting a Demand on Flubit is a process that allows you to show a visible expression to the world of your desire and hopeful intention to purchase a product or service.
In respect of any Demand you understand and agree that:
Starting or joining a Demand does not obligate you to buy a product or service on or outside the Site.
You have a firm and unprecedented desire to purchase the product at the RRP (Recommended Retail Price), and you understand that you are looking to use Flubit to find a better price for it.
The information entered on the Demand “set up” form, whatever platform this is located on, is to the best of your knowledge as accurate as possible.
The RRP you enter is either accurate from the referenced URL at the time of posting or able to be found online without registration required (and is not on offer or deal at the time of listing).
Flubit do not guarantee or promise a successful response to any Demand.
It should also be understood that there is no ‘pecking order’ for members of a Demand. For example: If an offer is pushed, or is suggested, that links with the Demand then there is no preference from the 1st – 100th person who has joined in regards to the ability to purchase the Flub Deal.
Joining a Demand: Joining a Demand is the process where you align your interests with an existing Demand listed on Flubit. You can do this by clicking the relevant button on the Demand page. In addition to the agreement to “Starting a Demand” you also consequently agree that you have fully read and understood the details of the Demand and agree to the exact same product or service.
Leaving a Demand: If your circumstances at any point in time prior to completion of a Flud-Deal change, you may leave a Demand using the relevant options available to you on the Site.

Demand Accuracy: To the best of your ability you will always enter accurate information into a Demand form and only join a Demand if you are fully aware that the information is accurate.
    DEMAND PREFERENCES
It is your responsibility to update and monitor your Demand preferences in regard to, but not limited to, notifications.
    PURCHASING A FLUB-DEAL
Understanding a Flub: A Flub is not a standard online purchase of an item. The benefit originates from the power of group demand, and with Flubit, the power of targeted Demand. Purchasing a Flub generally requires a group of people (1+) to hit a limit set by the Seller which in turn enables them to lower the price of the product item in return for mass sales. It is expected there will be a delay between purchasing a Flub, understanding the Flub is complete and receiving notification the goods are yours – this undetermined time will be based on the popularity and committed interest shown from Flubit users and so can’t be guaranteed or predicted with certainty in advance.
Successful Flubs: Successful Flubs are understood to be the process where the target number of people/details required in order to match the Seller’s original expectations (when setting up the Flub) are met, with payment authorised from all. While this number may be generated organically, this may also be formed by the Seller lowering the required number or force-ending the Flub. Either of these latter processes will not lower the possibility of a Flub completing for any Flubitron who has already purchased a Flub.
Unsuccessful Flubs: A Flub is deemed unsuccessful if the process where the target number of people/details required in order to match the Seller’s original expectations (when setting up the Flub) are NOT met, or payments are NOT authorised from all. NO money will be captured for an unsuccessful Flub and authorisations will be released within a reasonable time scale.

Hate to say it, but you are trying to create a demand for a free box of chocolates.... who is to say there is an actual retailer out there who will give this many people a free box?

Well if thats your interpretation of my intent you have totally got it wrong- i was only trying to post a freebie which i saw,and in my opinion the demand is for a product that somebody wants to FLUBIT so to speak and get a good deal on and nothing to do with the free box of chocloates promotion - they did a similar promotion when they first started up and people recived free chocolates-the terms and conditions refer to how they operate and how flubit works -yes you put in an item you wish to have and if others also want similar a demand is created and they try to see if a company will do a good deal on it-BUT this is a promotion to get people to sign up to flubit and in return they are giving free chocolates.
I cannot believe you have gone to all the trouble of posting terms and conditions and then have the GALL to suggest i am trying to create a demand for companies to give away free chocolates it seems for some reason you are trying to have go- when i was only tring to help people get a freebie in future one thinks why bother!

All I was trying to say to people reading your original post, it was not necessarily a quick free box of chocolates like the Viking deal where you bought a cheap item for a free box of chocolates.

Those who have read the Flubit t&c will understand how it works.

Other people reading will see free box of chocolates, sign up and then in a few weeks we will see lots of posts saying still haven't got mine, etc.

Now that you have clarified how the deal works, at least people are more educated.

I'm even more lost now, I thought I was joining with no obligation to pay anything and if something free arrives then horray for free stuff.

Was there something else I should have been aware of? there's no obligation to buy what we listed we were looking for is there? it says:
Starting or joining a Demand does not obligate you to buy a product or service on or outside the Site.

I dont think its hard to understand how the deal works as it states when you go to the link-and so what it maybe not a quick freebie -didnt know it had to be? There seems to be an element of elitism on here at times with attitudes that are completely not in good spirit- i have seen Sarah1972 bullied and Crazyterrier ridiculed for only posting freebies or giving POSITIVE advice in the past on here, i suggest that people who DO comment on other peoples posts think about what they actually put and also get their facts right first.
