Wednesday 28th Sept What Small DFW Things Will You Do?
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

    Morning all!
Found it really difficult to get motivated today, it was sooo dark when I got in the shower :-/
    This is me:-
    - Check banking
    - Shower not bath...HW is still off
    - Netball tonight
    - Text friend to bring me water, forgot my bottle!
    - Sell a purge, 2 x opportunities
    - Try to sparkle - not really feeling it right now :-/
    - Work hard?
    - Go through WIP to clear uninvoiced labour/sales work
    - Think about training plan for new starter on 24th Oct, met her last night and I think there's going to be more work involved than initially expected
    - Remind DB3 about rent/hotel for gig we're going too

    That's me I think!

    Good Morning all

Tebheag - Thanks for starting us off and hope your littlies feel better soon - I know exactly how you feel as my LO has suffered dreadfully every autumn/winter/spring with a sore throat to the point his tonsils seem to leave little room in his throat, am awaiting a call back this morning from Drs (he's gone to school dosed up but he cant carry on like this he's 8 now and he's not had a decent nights sleep now for at least 3 weeks, am hoping they'll see him today instead of just fobbing us off with a prescription).

Still not great here but I will get through it. Hope everyone else has a great day, hugs and best wishes to all that need them

Today's little list, (very repititive, but feel better for listing)

Check Banks - still going to be very tight
Check Swapits (for LO) and post those swapped - done
Update food tracker - in progress
    General tidy up -done
Read ("Desperate Diary of a Country Housewife" - not really enjoying but will plod on)
    Washing & line dry
    WW tonight
Make apple pie for OH and buns for LO, will also make some for oldies in sheltered accomodation when we visit

Hope you all have a great day, love to you all
