I started this challenge for the first time half way through last month - Thanks to all those who joined me on that thread, and i hope you will join me again this month.
I got a little bit distracted last time and forgot to post my positive steps but thought i would give it another try this month.
For any newbies to the challenge here is my intro information:
Hi All and thanks for taking a look at this new challenge thread I am pretty new to MSE and i love it - it has changed my view of my debts and turned paying them off a fun game rather than a huge uphill struggle
I decided to start this challenge as it is something that i find useful and i believe it could be used in many different ways - for example i am currently using it to try and increase my income and pay off my debts, however in the past i used the same principle to help me cope with my severe depression.....
Ok so these are the 'rules' of the challenge as i do it, however do feel free to modify them for yourself a little bit
The goal as i said is to increase my income and pay off my debts, so quite simply i attempt to take 10 positive steps a day to help me achieve this. As i personally need to stretch myself a bit for a challenge to be effective i also state that i have to do 10 UNIQUE things a day (that also means i don't get bored cos i'm a bit prone to that )
Some modifications could be doing 5 things a day, or even 1 if you feel you need to start slow. Or you could do 10 of the same things in a day but make each day have a unique theme ( I do like this one myself too!)
Ok so I think thats it for now, i may add some bits to this as the challenge progresses.
I hope you will join me.... otherwise i will be a bit lonesome

I'll join in.
3 a day sounds good for me as I'm at work all day so it can be surveys, listing things, sorting out paperwork etc dependant on the day.You have to start to finish.

Can I join, please?
Feeling distinctly not positive today, but will try to kick self up you know what by Saturday
I'm going to try for 9 positive moneymaking/saving things a day and make at least one of them something new, plus one "generally make myself feel better" thing a day.
Polly0 -
Oh its so lovely logging in and having some more people on the challenge - big warm welcome to you all
I like your plan Polly - your 'rules' sound like something i would dosuch a good idea to have one generally make yourself feel better thing in there too - i may have to steal that one myself
Is anyone else feeling like oh i did some good stuff today - i want to write that up and not have to wait? hehehehe typical me..... Well i am going to claim this for today anyway - i wrote a letter a while ago to go to my credit cards asking for the information i need to start claiming back fees - well finally i got them all sorted, added the account numbers etc and actually posted them!It feels great to have actually sent them off - i can't imagine how much i have paid in fees for my 8 credit cards over the last 6 years - If i actually get money back from them i think i will put it towards something nice
I'm also looking forward to hearing everyones positve steps - hope you are all ready for Saturday?
