Promotion / Pick a Potato / Game – The Pick a Potato application visible at http://www.facebook.com/walkers?sk=app_108690642566474 where the first 100,030 users to ‘like’ the Walkers Facebook page and play the game to enter the promotion get the chance to win either:

• A coupon for a free bag of Walkers Crisps (flat, original variety. Any flavour)
• Or a voucher for a Virgin Hot Air Balloon ride for two
• Or a voucher a Health Farm Spa Day for two.

Promoter/we/us – Walkers Snacks Ltd.

1. Pick a Potato is open to residents aged 18 and over of the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands only. Excluding employees of the Promoter and their families. A Facebook account is required.
2. To take part in Pick a Potato, you must ‘like’ the Walkers Facebook page, which is free. To do this, log into your account / create an account on facebook.com and visit www.facebook.com/walkers (the “Website”). You must then follow the instructions on the game tab ‘Win a free bag’, which includes allowing the application to access elements of your Facebook data. The account holder who registers for the coupon will be deemed to be the player. Internet access required.
3. No purchase necessary.
4. Participants must have a unique, valid email address to register for a coupon.
5. By taking part in this Promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these general terms and conditions.
6. This promotion is not open to residents of the Republic of Ireland or the Isle of Man.
7. To play the game, you’ll need to first allow the application and then choose one of the 3 potatoes and shake it with your mouse to reveal your prize. To claim your prize, enter your first name, last name, email address, postcode and telephone number. An email will then be sent to your designated email address detailing how to claim your coupon or voucher. You must have access to a printer in order to print the prize coupon. If you win either voucher (the Virgin Hot Air Balloon for two, or the Health Farm Spa for two), an email will be sent to your designated email address within 5 working days of your win. You must reply with a valid postal address in order to claim your voucher.
8. The game can be played from 27th September 2011 and coupons claimed until Pick a Potato ends in accordance with these terms and conditions.
9. There are 100,030 plays available in total. The Promotion closes at midnight on 27th September 2012, or after all 100,030 plays have been taken, whichever is sooner. Walkers reserves the right to increase the prize pool (in its absolute discretion) to extend the promotion to additional users.
10. Of the 100,030 plays, 100,000 are for a coupon for a free 34.5g of Walkers Crisps (flat, original variety. Any flavour). 15 are vouchers for a Virgin ‘National 7 Day Anytime’ balloon flight for two and 15 are vouchers for Spaseekers ‘Mother & Daughter Pamperday’ or ‘Lovers Pamperday’ spa (winner can choose between the ‘Mother & Daughter Pamperday’ or ‘Lovers Pamperday’ vouchers).
11. The coupons and vouchers that form the prizes for Pick a Potato have specific terms and conditions attached to them.
    • The coupon terms and conditions are displayed directly on the coupon.
    • The Virgin Hot Air Balloon ride voucher terms and conditions, click here.
    • For the Spaseekers voucher terms and conditions, click here.
    Please read these terms and conditions carefully before redeeming your coupon or voucher. In the event of any conflict between these general terms and conditions and the specific terms and conditions set out on the coupon or on the above pages the latter shall prevail.
12. You can only have one play of Pick a Potato. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your email account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your email account or Facebook account.
13. Any queries or complaints in relation to the fulfilment or validity of the coupon can be directed to [EMAIL="info@pick-a-potato.com"]info@pick-a-potato.com[/EMAIL], or through the ‘Feedback Form’ link on the printing instructions web page (a link to this page is sent to the consumer with their confirmation email)
14. The Promoter will not be responsible for entries or game plays not received, recognised or delayed. Proof of sending or entering such details does not constitute receipt. The Promoter will not be liable for a person not getting a coupon due to system failures, network error, site down-time, hacks on the system, personal computer, or mobile phone handset or network malfunction.
15. The Promoter will not be responsible if participants do not receive the coupon or voucher they have won if they have supplied insufficient, incorrect or false information when registering on the Website.
16. The Promoter will not be liable for any delayed or non-delivery of emails to participants. It is the responsibility of the registered user to check that emails from the Promoter will not be automatically classed as "junk" or "spam" and sent to the user's junk mail filter or otherwise filtered or deleted.
17. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any technical or other problems that mean participation is impossible or delayed, or claims or entries are not accepted for any reason whatsoever.
18. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Website. Numerous factors outside of the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the Website. To the extent permissible by law the Promoter excludes all implied warranties, conditions and other implied terms.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, or non-receipt of, game plays. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Promoter or an entrant because of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials from Pick a Potato.
20. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, or the spirit of Pick a Potato, by you, we may, at our sole discretion, refuse to process your claim. This includes:
    • Attempting to obtain a coupon or voucher in contravention with these terms and conditions.
    • Attempting to have, or having, multiple plays.
    • Any fraudulent activity with respect to copying, purchasing or trading coupons or vouchers.
    • Interfering with Pick a Potato or the Website.
    • The use of software to generate multiple plays, email accounts or Facebook accounts.
    If such activity is suspected the Promoter will refuse to issue / withdraw the validity of the coupon and restrict further attempts to access Pick a Potato from that user.
21. Our decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Website or the information on it, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of Pick a Potato may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
23. Attempting to gain access to someone else's email account information, or trying to obtain, generate, or guess another user’s account information is strictly forbidden and should any participant attempt to do this, they will be permanently banned from using Pick a Potato. If this happens, the offending participant will not be permitted to participate in the Promotion any further. The Promoter may decide to take further action.
24. You are responsible for any tax implications or payment of tax that may arise through participation in Pick a Potato.
25. The sale or barter of plays, coupons or vouchers is strictly prohibited. Your right to use Pick a Potato and use of the coupon or voucher is non-transferable.
26. We may amend these terms and conditions and/or Pick a Potato at any time to assist with its continued operation. We will give you reasonable notice of any change by posting the modified terms and conditions and/or modified game details on this Website and notifying you either on the game’s homepage. In the event of an amendment to these terms and conditions and/or Pick a Potato which you do not agree then do not use Pick a Potato.
27. If, for any reason, Pick a Potato is not capable of running as planned the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend all or part of it. This includes but is not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter.
28. We may, by giving you reasonable notice withdraw, modify or limit the rewards offered by us in Pick a Potato.
29. Personal data about you will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy as found on http://www.facebook.com/walkers?sk=app_108690642566474 which we will not disclose your data to any third party organisation without your explicit consent.
30. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Our failure to enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions will not constitute a waiver of our right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision under these terms and conditions.

I've just entered this, having received an email from Walkers this morning. Won a packet of crisps on liking them on Facebook, so guess the competition is still running ;-)
