hi there
i'm planning to buy a food processor in the next couple of days, we are a family of 4 with number 5 on her way. i have been looking at the magimix 4200 but it's a bit pricey, can anyone tell me if it's worth it or is there a cheaper option, or even a better model for the same price.
thanks

I have a Magimix 4200 that I bought last year. As you say, it was pricey, but it is brilliant, and I use it every day, so I really don't regret it. I cook everything from scratch, and work ft, so it saves me loads of time chopping, grating, mixing etc. I also do quite a lot of hardcore type cooking, preserves, terrines etc, and it is great for that as well. I had a cheap processor before, which didn't last as long as the guarantee on the Magimix (though it worked OK while it lasted), and it is great to know that you can easily get spare parts etc if you break something or it wears out (no sign so far!)0

Another vote for the Magimix! I've only had mine for 2 years but it beats the other processors I've had hands down.Mortgage Free as of 03/07/2017 :beer:0
