Lidl Have gone Organic!

I couldn't find a thread on this already so apologies if I missed it.
I was in Lidl the other day and about 30% of their fruit and veg was organic! It was as generous a section as the Tescos which is about 5 times the size just down the road.
My only concern is with how bad a shelf life Lidls fresh can have is that you will only have about a day before it goes off. However I think it shows times are changing when the cheap shops start keeping organic food.

My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

We were at Lidl's a couple weeks ago and they had organic onions, tomatoes and bananas. Bought onions and tomatoes and they lasted just fine, at least as long as organic produce bought elsewhere. I'm really pleased they're extending their organic selection!

I haven't been in lately but will have a look, with the using of it I tend to just blanche and freeze what would have usually been thrown out before, not as concerned about shelf life. One day I might be more organised...........
