my son has a dress up as your favourite movie star day next week
hes in yr 5 (nearly 10)
any cheap ideas would be gratefully received

Harry Potter? Would just need glasses, school uniform and a cape and wand?

Thunderbirds - Blue tracksuit and yellow sash. Could make a little hat out of blue paper.

Has he got a suit? Could go as Men in Black.

Get a couple of meters of yellow fabric, tack down the sides and cut out a head hole. Use a potato to print a pattern on in brown paint. Stick on an over sized tie (could make this) and go as Fred Flintstone.

Starwars Jedi - Buy a cheap brown men's dressing gown (primark or such) and stick it on over beigh/grey t-shirt and joggers.

Pirates of the caribbean - Man's white shirt, waistcoat and torn jeans. Lots of rings, scarves etc.

Smurf - White/red pants, blue t-shirt, white or red woolly hat and bit of blue face paint.

Incredible hulk - green t-shirt, torn brown pants, green face paint.
