Evening everyone
Sunshine - Really sorry to hear about the money, hope you manage to find it. It will probably turn up when you least expect.
Czernicha - Good luck with all the interviews, i'm sure a job will come your way sooner rather than later.
This is my second T free day today and already getting withdrawal symptoms, especially as i'm seeing new deals and also know I left a few in the big T's near me. Got to go back sometime over the weekend as just realised a couple of my cheap clothes have tags still on, funny as they didn't go off when I left the store.
Not a T's deal but managed to get a Dance Star Mickey from S today for £20.99 reduced from £70. My dd is going to go mad xmas morning
Good luck tomorrow everyone, hope you all get bargains and a few glitches too
Night night0 -
Evening all
Just been catching up with the thread
Sunshinestar - I really hope your money turns up soon xxx
Popped into T's today (only quickly as OH was with me.... he had a quick coffee in the cafe whilst I was scanning)..... nothing to be foundEvening all
Loads of baby 4p socks and bits from Halloween in bury and they were marked at 4p on the tags - result xxx
This is what I can't understand........ if they are not allowed to sell 4p items, why are they marking things at this price?? The young SA who stopped me with my 4p items the other night said once an item drops below £1 (I'm presuming they mean non-foodstuffs that would ordinarily scan much higher) they cannot be sold. I didn't think about it at the time but I should have asked "what about the bed rails which were selling (and had an SEL) for 60p then??
Makes you wonder .....
Anyway, thanks for all the new finds posted today everyone :TIf at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Lol, it was me that posted about both those. Tbh though, i doubt we will go as 3 lil ones that we wouldnt leave with any one to go away. They are only little once. Hopefully the company will allow the spend to be converted to vouchers for any hol where we can all go.
Shame apart from "the strip" where the hotels & casinos are, Vegas is just a regular town with supermarkets etc you could have practised some extreme couponing over there0 -

Thanks. Means a lot.:j Does that mean I can now have a few controversial/thought provoking moments without people thinking I'm just trying to wind people up?;) (as long as it's on Tesco related themes of course - I'll keep my discussions on the state of the economy, pensions etc elsewhere)

Just finished reading OHs start to her thesis for 4th year and on for a quick update.
Managed to nip into 2 Ts tonight with a little bit of luck.
Was just about to head out of S0uth R0ad store in Dund33 when i came accross a shelf of random items and a box of Sabatier Knifeswhich was a nice find.
Also managed to pick up a Teknika 7" White portable DVD player which was in the display shelf with an extra 10% off showing at around £40 decided to give it a blast on the scanning machine and it came up with £9also got them to take off another 10% for it being a display model so £8.10 woop woop. Barcode 5052003713833
Still not a 4p item in site though.
Went in armed with a huge list to only come away with the Sabatier knifes which is obv better than nothing
Of to bed, just one for a quickienite all.

ILOVEMYKIDS - i could do that to my neightbour, but reeeally dont think it was her. my Oldest son was at school and the youngets, from what i can recall, was in his highchair at the time she was there..
i really dont think it would be her though, shes really not that sort of person.. i suppose its hard to explain in writing, as dont want to stereotype people, or cause arguments on here etc.. but lets just say, its sooo not in her nature to do anything like that.. plus im sure i saw it after she left, and eve if i didnt, she went no where near the sofa where the money was.. literally popped in and stood by the lounge door. didnt stop or sit down or anything like that...
xx
no need to explainI really hope you find it,maybe somewhere 'weird and wonderful'!
and its always worth having another look in the same places as you have already looked,as when you looked the first time (in a 'blind' panic maybe/understandibly) it may have been missed pushed around/side to side (if you know what I mean). I speak from experiance with doing this
'everything' crossed for you0 -
Winjackie
That's why I thought I would post about them being marked at 4p
There were 2 sa with a red pen sorting these out on a rail as I walked in so I would quote the bury wood field estate store and see what they say if you get trouted of course
