Not sure if these have been mentioned. Mens black knitted F&F gloves barcode 5052319096477 priced at £1.50, went through at 4p. They were in the ladies section in R0y5t0n, I only picked them up because I thought that they were ladies! Went back in for some more and looked in mens dept. They had £2.00 on them and scanned at that price. (Thank goodness for the ssin theclothes dept). Went back to ladies bit at the front and got another few pairs. There were a few left, they are on a hanging strip. Also lots of the Rugby socks left. Lots of Ocean Moon dough as well - scanning at £2.00. Nivea Cool Kick shaving gel - sel big2f, next to a big b1g1f sign, so only bought 3. No discount came off at all, so DTD of £7.40.Toni`s Mummy0

Forgot to mention yesterday that the mens boxers and loungwear I tried scanning for 4p came back at half-price of the SEL eg. £3.50 and £7. Still abit too rich for my budget though0

Couldn't be bothered getting in the car to go to either of the Extras so just took a walk to the wee one in town, no sign of any of the frozen puds in there, probably just as well!
Did find these Pukka Pads that people have been going on about, there was one with 160 pages with a SEL of 46p and a project pad with 200 pages with SEL of 56p, so treated myself to one of these!! They were just normals labels, not yellow or reduced ones.
Loads of Halloween stuff reduced, don't know if it's any cheaper than the SEL's though.
Theres also a set of phones with and OOD label but didn't have the (metaphorical) balls to try that after getting DTD on the shampoo last week! Someone else might like them though...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

We didnt have a clue either, I had to google it when he said it a few years back as well! Loads and loads of training and studying, I think they still have to study while their working after uni for another 3-4 years to qualify, but it seriously pays off on the salary front at the end:)
3-4 years! You'd be lucky. I used to work with a bunch of actuaries (some of whom even had a sense of humour!) and even a girl with a 1st in Math, straight As at A-Level & GCSE didn't pass all her exams first time. One guy even went off on stress leave as he struggled to pass them. The first few exams seem to be ok but after that they're an uphill struggle.
Oh and an actuary for those who don't know is an accountant with the sense of humour removed. No I jest, actuaries are the people who work out risk & probabilities that affect what we pay for the likes of car insurance or pensions. The ones I worked with dealt with pensions so they used lovely little morbidity tables to figure out how long people had left in this fair earth to then screw them for pension payments!
Actuaries that calculate car insurance will use your age, type of car etc to work out the likehood of you having an accident and therefore how much you should pay in insurance so the company will still make a profit even if people put in claims.0 -
