hehe, no worries :) Show of Hands are a folk band that come from Devon, and one of their most well known songs is called Cousin Jack :)

(Just a case of me putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 27 lol :rotfl:)

If you are interested, this is a link to them performing the song Cousin Jack :)

I am from proud cornish mining stock and have always understood a cousin jack to be a cornish man. Loved the link, thank you, gonna show it to the family!:)

    oh by the way

used £10 of CC vouchers and doubled up for clothing

girls party dresses are on offer at £7 at the moment (similar to boys offer of the week deal) these are normally £18.50 so I got 3 to give away as gifts for £21 with the vouchers only had £1 to pay:T:T:T

edit-ps these dresses were just on a normal rack in my store, wouldn't have known they were on offer, only knew because they have had special display in other stores i have been in

Had to pick up some clothing I had delivered to store St Stephens (that I got with the double discount codes woop) and at last found the 6 pack of Plenty, top shelf, no SEL so picked three up and also had a till spit for 60p off Plenty, loads left@ £1.80ish there was also the Pastry shortcrust and Puff 1st time I have found that as well, so picked up three of each, again, loads left.

    Evening all

Finally found some 4p items last night, 2 pairs of the "try by day" PJs, playboy trunks and some rugby trunks and got trouted!! Partly my own fault because I was queueing up at SS tills and they decided to open a "basket only" till right next to the queue. A supervisor came over and beckoned the last couple of people on the queue (me and someone else) to "save queueing" and go over to the manned till. I didn't want to draw attention to myself (I mean, ordinarily who would queue if a till was empty :rotfl:). I also saw that the person on the till was a young boy so I thought he maybe wouldn't take any notice. How wrong was I! He scanned a pair of the PJ's first and didn't look at the screen first of all, he removed the security tag and went to pick up the next pair. It was then he noticed the price...... "I can't sell these" he said. "Why not?" I asked. "Because they are scanning at the wrong price, they're coming up as 4p" he replied. I then politely asked what they were doing on sale if they can't be sold and he said he's not sure what's happening but all staff, when they start their shifts, are being told to watch out for items scanning at 4p and refuse to sell them. I asked to speak to a manager but to cut a long story short, they wouldn't budge. I may have pushed a bit further but DD1 was with me and she gets really embarrassed over things like this. So still no PJ's for me :(

A quick question if I may... are the beans a glitch that will be fixed tomorrow (never really understood glitches.... misprices are much easier)?

    TIA :)
